Betsy Bailey is the VP of Software Product at Elas, a Bay Area software startup. With a computer science background and a career spanning technical and strategic roles, she excels in blending engineering expertise with agile product management. At Construction Testing Services and PaySplit, Betsy led efforts to improve user experiences and optimize product development.

Martin, based in the Bay Area, leads technical projects at elas, leveraging his software engineering background. His key projects include developing a scheduling platform, building a LIMS for materials testing with full data migration, integrating lab results via API, and creating a custom Performance Review system with complex union and state rules. He excels in team collaboration and delivering client-focused solutions.

Leigh has 26+ years in Industrial R&D at Dow Chemical and Clorox. Experienced in process development, automation, and Six Sigma, she holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. Leigh mentors at UC Davis and serves on Iowa State University's Engineering Advisory Council.

Strategic CFO with expertise in P&L management, M&A, SaaS, and global leadership at companies like Whirlpool and Logitech. Managed $15M–$300M budgets, led system implementations, and $500M revenue forecasts. Raised $80M+ in funding and oversaw five M&As. Experienced in team building and profitability optimization. Niall handles significant systems implementation from the functional leadership side.

Lawrence MacAlpine is a cybersecurity leader and entrepreneur with over 16 years of experience in compliance, risk management, cloud computing & team management. As a development manager, he drives secure and innovative solutions for complex challenges. A co-founder of Sakra and creator of Sourdough tools, Lawrence has successfully built and sold passion-driven platforms showcasing his ability to blend technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision. In his free time he runs Ironman Triathlons & and operates an Artisan Sourdough Bakery.

Aileen brings over 20 years of experience in administration and operations to Elas, supporting both administrative and financial functions and ensuring organizational efficiency. Previously, she managed teams across the staffing, fitness, and retail sectors, including a $10M retail department. Aileen has also contributed her leadership and organizational skills to local school-based nonprofit organizations, serving as an executive for 9 years.

Glenn Jones is a global software product executive with over 30 years of experience scaling enterprise software companies. As Senior Product Advisor at Elas, he guides product strategy and innovation. Glenn has held leadership roles at Freight Science, Blume Global, Elementum, and Raytheon, driving success in product management and R&D.

Mark Whipple is a seasoned software leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale cloud-based enterprise solutions. He excels in architecting scalable, secure SaaS and PaaS products and building development teams globally. Mark has expertise in virtualized compute, containerized systems (Docker), and developing solutions in supply chain, IoT, and alternative energy. He is skilled in agile practices, microservice platforms, and mobile/web UI development. Mark has mentored teams, contributed to patents and standards committees, and co-authored two books on Java software development.
